Formerly Senior Vice President of Global Business Development for the NBA, Peter Farnsworth launched Foxrock Partners to meet the needs of corporate brands and sports and entertainment properties looking to grow their respective businesses through marketing partnerships.
He has created numerous partnerships across professional sports leagues, teams and events working on behalf of prominent brands, including extensive client work for leading brands such as Kraft, Sun Life Financial, BBVA Group, Cigna, Las Vegas Sands and Carnival Cruise Line, along with properties and media companies like the NFL Players Association, Nitro Circus, Live Nation, College Football Playoff, the Wall Street Journal and Turner Sports.
Farnsworth, a veteran of global business operations who led the acquisition of new corporate alliances on both a domestic and international basis for the NBA, brings 25 years of high-level business development experience to his role at Pivot Management Partners.
Farnsworth’s ongoing success in multiple areas of the sports industry earned him a spot on Sports Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” list.
A magna cum laude graduate of Colgate University, Farnsworth earned a bachelor of arts in political science and religion. An academic and athletic standout at Colgate, he was president of his senior class and received the Patriot League Student Athlete Award in 1992 as a four-year member of the lacrosse team.
Farnsworth resides in Manhattan with his wife, two children, and their dog Becket.
